I didn't go to school today, which of course, I'm rather happy about. Had a slight fever and I think it's due to the hectic weather changes. And my chair-mate's flu. She was absent the day before. I'm having a bad cold too, and it can be quite irritating...all that mucus dripping down...and it's somesort yellowish? Alright, I will stop. Oh yeah, the school called, as always, to inquire about my absence from school. How caring. *sneers* You could very well tell from their tone of voice. You see, this is the second time they called me this year, which in other words, mean this is my second time falling sick this year. The first time was slightly better. The male staff had a friendlier tone although you couldn't really call his friendly. And he told me "You should visit the doctor" after I told him I didn't need to after popping a pill. Obviously he wanted me to get an MC which I didn't get. Gave the teacher a parents' letter instead. This morning, a female one called. She thought I was the parent and unfortuantely, I told her I was the girl who was not in school. Hmm, what the heck?! She was so horrendously rude okay? She asked the reason for my absence and of course I said I was sick. Now that was a friggin' logical answer. Then she repeated the question again in a fustrated tone expecting another reply. Why couldn't she just asked if I was feigning my illness? I just told her that I had a fever and guess what she said? "You MUST see the doctor (and this time she's more frank...) and GET AN MC!" (the exclaimation mark's just merely describing the tone of her voice) Well well, she needn't do that, need she? Poor kid, she's probably half dead on the bed and rolling about in her own mucus and there comes a ring on the tele and she's half expecting a call from her dreaded school. This time, the caller is a bloody (I'm sorry I have to use this, but allow me one time only) female staff screaming her guts out at her. Now no wonder the flu bug's here to stay.
You know, the school just tells us to visit the doctor for one simple reson: They want us to show them an MC to prove that we aren't skipping school. One heck load of cowdung. Honest. It's simple logic. Yeah, and it's pretty obvious. They should get the principal to call us instead. That will really show how caring they actually are. Aww, how sweet will it be then.
